User Privacy Agreement

Dear user, welcome to read this agreement:

Your privacy is important to 《Meta Sinogram》 ("we" or "our"). And we are committed to protecting your privacy. Therefore, we have developed a Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how we process your information and protect your privacy when you use the Software and Services, and the rights and options available with respect to your information. We believe that you have the right to know about our practices regarding the information we may collect and use when using software and services (“Software and Services”). If you do not agree to the terms and conditions set forth herein, please do not use the software and services.

1. The information we process and the purpose of processing your information

We'll be dealing with two broad categories of information. Our mission is to continuously improve our software and services and provide you with new or better experiences. As part of this task, we use your information for the following purposes. If any new purpose for processing your personal data arises, we will notify you before commencing to process information for that new purpose by making a corresponding change to this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Information you submit

(1) Cameras and photos (excluding facial photos). Usually, in order to provide you with many photo editor features (e.g. templates, filters), you can voluntarily grant us access to your camera or photo album to get photos in your mobile device. We will use the SDK provided by the third party to process the photos. We neither store nor share such photos with any third parties. This information is necessary for the proper performance of the contract between you and us.

(2) Facial feature data. When you use facial recognition for the first time, you voluntarily grant us access to your camera and photo album to capture facial photos on your mobile device. We can only access your camera and photo album if you confirm your permission. Then, we will use the sdk provided by the third party to analyze the facial feature data, identify the position and shape of the five sense organs in the photo, process the photo, and feedback the rendering to you. Such renderings will not contain any personally identifiable information. We neither store nor share such data, photos and renderings with any third parties. The purpose of processing such information is only to operate the application's facial recognition function (including but not limited to aging effects, gender change, face fusion, etc.).

(3) The purpose of processing such information is only to operate the face recognition function of the application (including but not limited to aging effects, gender transformation effects, face fusion effects, face changing effects, filter effects), cameras and photos. In order to use certain features of this application, you may voluntarily grant us access to the camera or photo album to obtain photos in your mobile device. We may use Photo Kit API to collect photos, pictures and other data that you upload or submit while using the application. This information is necessary for the proper performance of the contract between you and us.

(4) Support related information. If you contact us through our support section or by email, we may collect your contact information, your complaint or feedback and any information you voluntarily provide in connection with this support. Such information is used only to provide support services to you and will not be linked to any other information collected from you through the Software and Services. The purpose of the information you submit is to:
(1) Operate and update software and services;
(2) Improve and customize software and services and related services;
(3) maintain, test and monitor the quality and operation of the software;
(4) to provide you with support and handle your complaints and/or feedback;
(5) Take any measures when it involves your disputes related to software and services;
(6) Comply with and meet any applicable laws and regulations, legal process or enforceable government requirements.

1.2 Automatically processed information

(1) When you use software and services, we will use the Xcode API to collect the following information:
- Universally Unique Identifier (UUID), type of mobile device and version of the application and operating system installed on the mobile device;
- country, language;

(2) Metadata. Metadata can describe the location information contained in a photo or other file and when the file was created, or the rough characteristics of the characters in the photo and other content contained in the photo. We use photo metadata to provide you with certain features, including precise "facial recognition," "keypoint recognition," and other custom features based on these basic features.

(3) Payment data. We may collect information about your order, such as what was purchased, when it was ordered, order status, when payment was made. We do not collect and are not responsible for collecting payment details or keeping them secure. Payment information is processed and stored using third-party companies such as Apple and Google. We recommend that you read and familiarize yourself with the privacy policies of these third party companies before entering your personal payment details.

When you start using the software and services, information is automatically processed by automatic data processing technologies. The purpose of the automatically processed information is to:
(1) operate and update software and services, and provide you with existing and new functions and features;
(2) Improve and customize software and services and related services;
(3) maintain, test, monitor and improve the quality and operation of the software;
(4) Enforce the terms and conditions applicable to the software and services, and prevent, detect and investigate fraud, security breaches, potentially prohibited or illegal activities and their misuse, protect our trademarks and enforce our terms of use.

2. Protect personal information

We take precautionary measures, including administrative, technical and physical measures, to protect your personal information from loss, theft and misuse as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.

Keep your personal information safe; we communicate our privacy and security guidelines to all employees and strictly enforce privacy practices within the company.

Unfortunately, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. We do our best to protect your personal information, however, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If your personal information is compromised due to a breach of security, we will notify you immediately in accordance with applicable law.

3. Sharing information with third parties

We will not share any personally identifiable information we collect from you except in the following events:

3.1 If we are required by law to disclose your information, we may share your information with law enforcement agencies or other competent authorities and with any third parties as necessary (for example, to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues ) ; to respond to requests or to satisfy any legal process, subpoena, or governmental request; or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Group users, partners, or the public);

3.2 If the team undergoes a business transition, such as a merger or acquisition by another company, merger, change of control, reorganization, or sale of all or part of its assets, your information will be included in the transferred assets.

4.Third party content

Certain software and services may include and/or enable you to add content to them. Content may be in the form of buttons, widgets, links to third-party advertisements, websites, products and services (including search services), and other means provided to you by third parties (collectively, "Third Party Content and Services" ”). Use of such third-party content and services is governed by their privacy policies. You should understand that use of third-party content and services may enable those third parties to access, collect, store and/or share your information, including your PII and non-personally identifiable information. For clarification, we do not review, approve, monitor, endorse, warrant, or make any representations about such third-party content and services, and your access to any third-party content and services is at your own risk We assume no responsibility or liability for the practices of these third-party content and services, your use or inability to use or the inability to use the information. You expressly release us from any liability arising from your use of such third-party content and services. We You are advised to read the terms, conditions and privacy policies of any third-party content and services before using or accessing them.

5.Transfer data Transmit outside your area

We work in the international space and provide our software and services to users around the world. We and third-party organizations that provide automatic data processing technologies for the software and services may transfer automatically processed information across borders from the country in which you are located to other countries around the world.

Wherever you are located in the EEA, you hereby expressly consent to the transfer of your data outside the EEA after using the software and services, as required by law. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by email below.

6. How will we retain your personal data

We generally retain your personal information until the performance of the contract between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to use the information we actually access and store, you can ask us to erase your personalpersonal information and close your account.

In particular, the facial data in this product is only used for identification, extraction, and operation during the use of the function, without any storage.

However, some data may still be stored for a period of time if the information is required to comply with legal obligations (taxation, accounting, auditing) or to maintain security and data backup settings, prevent fraud or other malicious acts.

7. Your Data Rights

You have the right to access, modify, correct or delete any personal data we may collect. In order to exercise this right, please contact us at ChineseKey.org@gmail.com. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right (with few exceptions):
(i) request access and correction or deletion of your personal information;
(ii) obtain restriction of processing or object to the processing of your personal information;

9. Change Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. Any changes will be posted on the software interface. Your continued use of the Software and Services will constitute your acceptance of such updates.

10. Privacy issues

All other rights not stated in this agreement still belong to the company. The company reserves the right of final interpretation of this agreement.
